Top 5 Favorites Happy almost weekend!

Your Top 5 Favorites from January were a great round-up of all my favorite things.  My go-to beauty tools, fave jeans, an amazing jacket and stylish sneakers.

Puffer Coat

I’m in love with this puffer coat.  Read the full review here.  It’s soft, comfy and super chic.  It also comes in different colors and fabrics.

Sneakers

I wore these at Disneyland two days in a row and they are just as comfortable as my workout sneakers.  I love the off-white tone.  It adds a pop and stylish contrast that all white sneakers just don’t have.

Fave Jeans

I’ve worn these jeans to death and they just keep getting better and better.  This is Japanese denim at its finest.  The cut is perfection and well worth the investment.

Make-up Brushes

These foundation brushes are my go-to.  I love the handle-less one for travel and keeping in my purse.

Wool & Cashmere Shampoo

I’m pretty much done with dry cleaners – read why here – and prefer to launder my clothes at home.  This wool and cashmere shampoo is a must-have for all my sweaters.

Top 5 Favorites – October 2021

Flare Leg JeansOctober always feels like the longest month ever.  (Maybe because Halloween isn’t until the very last day?)  While we saw our fair share of very hot, sunny days in SoCal, we also got a decent amount of rain and fall weather.  And with that, a piqued interest in jeans.

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I’m a denim addict, so jeans on In Spades isn’t anything new.  But your interest in fall’s denim trends was higher than ever.

Here are your Top 5 Favorites from October 2021.

Flare Leg Jeans

I adore the 70’s vibe of these jeans (and so did you).  Ultra flattering for ladies with curves, they also give definition to athletic builds.  If you’re short, not to worry – they look great hemmed too.

Wide Leg Cropped Jeans

These jeans tick all the boxes – cropped, not-too-high rise, 100% cotton and the wider leg makes them a perfect fall pair of jeans because they can be worn with tons of different boots.

Straight Leg Jeans

These jeans are one of my all-time favorite pairs.  The ankle-length cropped silhouette is super flattering.

Loafers

I adore these loafers. Super comfortable, the lug sole gives them an edgy vibe.

Perfume

I can tell holiday season is upon us because sales for this perfume skyrocketed in October.  Check out my full review of this fragrance here.

Top 5 Favorites – September 2021

September is a transition month and your Top 5 Favorites were a great mix of summer and fall pieces.

Saint Laurent Handbag

This bag may not have generated a ton of sales, but it did generate tons of traffic.  I debuted it in a fun, 80’s inspired Reel.  I love the size, the crossbody/shoulder strap feature and that it’s vintage denim.  Pretty much my dream bag.

Wide Leg Jeans

These jeans are my first from the brand and I’m really impressed.  I love the wider leg, 100% cotton denim and the fact that the inseam isn’t super long.  They hit right under my belly button – the perfect height IMO.  Anyone else feel like high waisted jeans are getting too high?

Loafers

I did some major loafer window shopping in September.  I took home this pair and this pair.  I love the alternate colors they come in and how comfy they are.  While I loved them both, I ultimately returned them and went with this pair.  The crisscross leather looks so chic and the chunky rubber sole gives them an edge I adore.

Flat Sandals

These are truly the comfiest sandals ever.  They come in 10 colors and are on sale for under $70.  Highly recommend.

Loungewear Set

This summer loungewear set got a ton of wear (I’m still wearing it!).  I love that the top looks great with high waisted jeans and the shorts are chic enough to wear outside the house.

Top 5 Favorites – August 2021

Comfy, Flat Sandals

These come in a rainbow of colors (seriously, 10 colors!) and are the comfiest sandals I’ve probably ever worn. They have cushioned insoles and can be dressed up or down.

Comfy, Heeled Sandals

Speaking of comfy sandals, these should win an award.  Not only do they look so much more expensive than they are, but you can wear them for hours.  They too have a padded insole.

Denim Cutoffs

These made the list two months in a row and I won’t be surprised if they go for a third.  The longer inseam (4 inches) is super flattering and comfortable.  They are my favorite denim cutoffs.

Target Beauty Finds

When Ulta Beauty launched at Target, I shared two of my go-to products on Instagram.  My favorite eye patches and self-tanner.  I loved being able to pick up both in the aisles at Target instead of waiting for an online order.  Yay for convenience!

Lounge Set

This lounge set comes in multiple colors and looks so chic. I love that it has a summer version, so you can swap shorts and a short-sleeved sweatshirt in warmer months.

It’s honestly one of the best loungewear investments I’ve made.  You will look so pulled together in this set.

Denim Cutoffs

I wrote a review of these here.  They have replaced my former fave pair thanks to the longer length (4-inch inseam).  HIGHLY recommend these.

Comfy Sandals

Aviator Sunglasses

These sunnies have a classic aviator shape, but with a little more edge thanks to the no-wire frame.  They are incredibly lightweight and comfortable to wear, and clock in at $65.

Vacation Dress
