This year I added quite a few new denim brands to my collection.  This brand offers 6 signature styles and I did a full breakdown on which style is best for different occasions (every day, dress up) and body types.

These skinny jeans are super comfortable and make a great everyday jean.

Leather Handbag

This ruched leather bag was part of Net-a-Porter’s seasonal sale and it really caught your collective eye.  The textured silhouette has Bottega vibes but is more practical thanks to the top handle.  Plus, it’s a fraction of the price.  I adore this color for fall.

Comfiest Bra Ever and Straight Leg Jeans

I think these last two should have a permanent spot on the list because they get repeated so often.

Anytime this bra goes on sale rest assured I’ll alert you.  It comes in 5 colors and is honestly the only bra I wear now.  I love the removable pads and fully adjustable shoulder straps.

These jeans flatter EVERY body type.  I wrote a full review here, but would say they run TTS.  If you are in between sizes, size down.

If you’re looking for a super comfortable pair of straight leg jeans, these are it.  Made for a relaxed fit, I took my true size, but I know some people prefer to size down for a more fitted look.  I wear them around the house, playing with my daughter, etc.  They are cropped so all shoes look great with them.

This bra will probably be a repeat favorite for the rest of the year.  It’s just THAT GOOD.  Lucky for us, it’s marked down as part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  One color has already sold out so jump on it fast!

Another repeat fave, these high-waisted cutoffs are so flattering.  I wrote a full review here, but I recommend sizing up.  They come in tons of washes and will last you summer after summer.

501 Shorts

Levi's 501 ShortsFor a more affordable pair with an eternally classic style, I adore these.  I take my true size, but size up if you want a relaxed fit.  The fun part is searching for vintage styles – these cutoffs are the first ever in history!

Ah, straight leg jeans.  I’m obsessed.

In January I shared my favorite straight leg jeans at all price points, and today I wanted to continue the convo by showing you how I style them.

These straight leg jeans are my hero pair.  Why do I love them so much?

  1. They’re SUPER comfortable.  No standing room only jeans.
  2. The cropped length gives you endless footwear options.
  3. The high rise isn’t too high, so you can easily tuck in shirts or wear more cropped length tops with them.
  4. They are 100% cotton.  They won’t stretch out, look baggy, and all of the washes they come in will be super high quality (you lose quality and wash variation when you add stretch to denim).
  5. They’re so versatile.  I can wear them running errands, playing with my daughter AND to a night on the town.

Today I styled them casually with my fave sneakers and vintage tee, but you can easily add boots and a cropped sweater for something dressier.  If you want to go even more elevated, I’d pair them with stilettos, a silk top and a leather jacket.

I’d stick to your normal size in these jeans.  If you are in between sizes, go with the smaller of the two.  This style is a staple pair for this brand so they continually make them season after season.  Shop the post below for some great sales on other washes!

Last year I started a monthly series that shares your Top 5 Favorite products.  These are the things you loved the most over the course of one month.  Your most purchased, searched for and talked about.
1 and 2) Straight-leg denim

In a recent What I’m Coveting, I shared my favorite straight leg jeans.  Numbers 1 and 2 on your favorites list were these affordable and mid-range pairs.

I love the cropped length and slightly tapered leg both pairs offer.  You can easily pair them with ankle boots or flats.  I wear mine with tennis shoes all the time and they still look chic.  The wash options are endless.  Although they both are 100% cotton, they run TTS.

3) Cashmere sweater

In January I talked about the affordable cashmere brand you need to know.  They had an amazing 50% off sale, and you guys took advantage.

Besides being ethically sourced (their goats live in a protected space in Mongolia and their fleece is hand-combed), they offer great pricing.

This cropped sweater and this loungewear set were my sale scores.  I’ve worn both a ton.  The good news is that they are running another sale – 20% off two items!  Below are my picks from the sale.

4) Crossbody bag

My weekend packing list highlighted an affordable crossbody bag you guys loved.  It comes in 5 colors and is $125 – a great price for a leather handbag.  The best part is the long strap which can be carried as a crossbody or over the shoulder.  So essential while traveling or running errands!

5) White eyelet dress

This dress was a Nuuly rental score.  I ended up purchasing the short version in black, but the long version is the perfect beach vacation dress.  Pair it with a straw hat and flat, lace-up sandals this summer for an incredibly chic look.

My favorite part is that it’s super comfortable and can be worn during the day or dressed up for night.

What I’m Coveting

There was once a time when skinny jeans reigned supreme.  Thankfully for me, this time has come and gone.

While skinny jeans still have a place in my closet, I’m officially a straight leg jeans convert.

I’ve chatted before about my love of denim and the 2 pairs of jeans every woman needs.  A good pair of straight leg jeans should be one of them.

Not only are they on trend, but they:

  • Won’t stretch out like skinny jeans
  • Look much better with boots (no awkward tucking)
  • Are super flattering on all body types, especially if your hips are the widest part of your body (99% of women)
  • Are surpassing skinny jeans in the amount of washes and styles available

Here are my absolute favorite straight leg jeans, ranked by price.

This brand has SO many great options.  My favorites are these (wearing them here) but this style has quickly earned a cult following.  Just be forewarned, they are ULTRA high rise.  For a good middle-of-the-road style, these are a classic.

Affordable Straight Leg Jeans

This brand is one of my favorites for straight leg jeans. I love the fit of these (I own them in 2 washes) and the distressed ones are super 90’s inspired.  The 90’s inspired pair also come in mid-rise and high-rise versions.

Medium Priced Straight Leg Jeans

For cult favorites, try this brand and this brand.  Both are an investment but will last a lifetime.  I find these run TTS while I had to size up in these.
