Top 5 Favorites – April 2021

In April I shared some recent summer finds and my go-to loungewear on the blog and Instagram.  Here are the Top 5 Favorites you loved last month.

Lounge leggings

These have made the list before, but I think it was my Insta Story about what the fabric looks like up close that people loved.  I compared them to the Lululemon Align Pant, and let me just say, the difference is staggering.

Sweatpants

I discovered these this year and have purchased 3 pairs total.  I love them THAT much.  They are super soft and comfy and have enough structure to look chic and never dumpy.  The fabric is the perfect weight to wear year-round and not be see-through.

Sizing – they run small.  I own them in a size small for a fitted look and a size medium for a more relaxed, loungey look.

Summer Dress

This balloon-sleeved dress is super cute and comes in 3 colors.  I have it in red.  I love that it’s cotton so you can wash it!

Summer sandals

Another amazingly comfortable find, I adore these sandals.  They are leather yet survived a dip in the ocean.  They run TTS and come in 5 colors.

Skinny/straight jeans

I think these just need a permanent spot on the list because they are back again!  Score them for $44 like I always do by keeping up to date on the sales (simply click the “Get Sale Alert” hearts above).

 

Top 5 Favorites – February 2021

I love a crowd that loves denim as much as I do.  And based on your Top 5 Favorites from February, that is certainly the case.

Levi’s x Target

You guys loved this collection as much as I did.  Your faves?  This platter, the bar cart and these mugs.  It debuted February 28 and is only here for a limited time.  Prices range from $3 to $150 – act fast!

Layering Fragrance 

I received a sample of this and was immediately hooked.  It can be worn alone or layered on top of your favorite fragrance to enhance the scent and mix it up.

It’s super long-lasting and should honestly be much, much more expensive for the quality.  For under $100, this is a beauty cabinet must in my book.

The Best Skinny/Straight jeans under $100

I wrote about spring denin trends and these are definitely on the list.  My advice – go for the 100% cotton version (they also come with stretch).  They run TTS. If in between sizes, go up.

The Best Lounge Leggings

I now own these in 3 colors.  They are SUPER comfy, don’t pill or stretch out and also work great for all kinds of exercise.

This post on how to find the best vintage Dr. Marten’s is one of my most popular.  With the rise of combat boots’ popularity, it’s no wonder I see a lot of traffic to this post each month.

Top 5 Favorites – January 2021

In January the name of the game was denim and leggings.  That’s pretty much all I’m wearing too.  Let’s dive in to your January favorites.

Lounge Leggings

These leggings are the best of both worlds.  Comfortable enough to feel like sweats, but supportive enough to work out in.  They’re like Lululemon’s Align Pant but 10 times better because they don’t pill, don’t stretch out, don’t snag on things and come in fun colors.

I want the seafoam color next.

Workout Leggings

These leggings are my favorite to work out in.  Super supportive without feeling too tight.  I’ve tested every pair that Lululemon offers, and this fabric is the BEST.  It’s lightweight, breathes well and doesn’t stretch.  I don’t buy anything else for workouts.

Skinny jeans under $100

These are dubbed a skinny, but they are more of a slim straight leg.  Made from 100% cotton they have a super lived-in, vintage vibe.

With almost 200 reviews and a solid 5-stars, you know the fit is perfection.

Top 5 Favorites – June 2020

I hope you all had a great 4th of July weekend.  We are officially in the heart of summer!  Your Top 5 Favorites from June 2020 were a mix of oldies but goodies and new products I tried.

Nail art cheat sheets

Ciate London nail art cheat sheetsThese nail art stickers are SO fun.  They instantly take your manicure up a notch and the price is right.  You get over 400 stickers for $18 and the quality is superb.  They seriously look like salon quality nail art.

Little white dress

Lisa Marie Fernandez x Target dressThis LWD is perfect for summer.  It reminds me of Diane Lane’s Positano dress from Under the Tuscan Sun.  Chic, comfortable and versatile.  Although it’s part of a limited edition collaboration, it’s remarkably still available in every size.

I’m wearing an XS and can attest that the quality is top notch.  Double lined cotton, removable belt and priced right at $60.

Most Comfortable Bra EVER

This is the only bra you’ll ever wear.  Trust me.  It has totally adjustable straps (I hate bras that only give partial strap adjustment) and removable cups so you can choose how much support you want.

I wear an XS and own it in black, pink and nude.  It runs TTS.  Get it before it sells out – most retailers can’t keep it in stock.

Lounge leggings

This has been one of my most popular posts of 2020 because it’s all about loungewear.  These leggings were one of your favorites from June.

They have pockets and are made of the softest material ever that does NOT pill.  I have an XS and think they run TTS.

Pro tip: this brand makes an IDENTICAL pair of leggings with a different material that I do not recommend at all (scratchy, uncomfortable).  Be sure you get these for the softest, coziest pair ever.

Designer Sale Picks Under $200

While I don’t have just one item that you loved most from June, this post was by far the most popular.  I chose my favorite pieces under $200 from the Moda Operandi sale.

You loved this dress, these jeans (also on sale in black) and this top among many others.  All are still in stock in a range of sizes.
